Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a rewarding opportunity to serve the Catholic community in Sioux Falls, SD? St Therese Parish is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper
- Accountant to join our team and help us manage our financial records with accuracy and precision. As a Bookkeeper
- Accountant , you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our parish and ensuring that our resources are being used effectively to support our mission. The position is a part-time accounting position, but if you are interested in additional administrative office duties, it could be full-time.

• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank statements
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making by parish leadership
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

We are looking for a detail-oriented Catholic with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books and Microsoft Excel is a must.
