Job SummarySilencer Central is seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Accounting Intern to support our accounting team during year‑end close and financial statement audit activities. This internship provides hands‑on experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and audit support while offering exposure to day‑to‑day accounting operations. The selected candidate will assist with a variety of accounting, administrative, and project‑based assignments and gain valuable experience working alongside accounting professionals.
Job Responsibilities & Essential FunctionsAssist the accounting team with year‑end financial statement audit preparation and support
- Gather, organize, and provide documentation requested by external auditors
- Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing activities
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures
- Conduct research and analysis for accounting projects as assigned
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects
- Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks as needed
- Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience using spreadsheets and accounting software is a plus
This is a paid internship opportunity, offering hands‑on experience and professional development in Accounting. The compensation is dependent on experience and coursework. This temporary internship position is not eligible for company‑sponsored benefits.
