This position can be located in Sioux Falls or Pierre. If the selected individual resides outside of the Pierre area, there will be an expectation to travel to Pierre 4 days per month.

Salary: $19.02 Hourly, depending on qualifications

Summary

The Department of Social Services, Division of Medical Services is seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong customer service and communication skills to join their provider enrollment team. This position works to enroll providers and maintain provider data which assists to ensure that access to medical services is available to the department's customers. Duties include ensuring provider eligibility through the application of administrative rules and federal regulations;

reviewing and approving provider enrollment applications and record modifications; comparing and validating data; coordinating record updates; answering provider questions; and educating providers on the online enrollment processes. This position will also assist with testing various provider enrollment systems.

This position is located in Pierre or Sioux Falls and is not eligible for remote work. If located in Sioux Falls, occasional travel to Pierre is required.
