NuAge Builders, a rapidly growing general contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects throughout the Midwest, is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our expanding team. Job Summary / Responsibilities:As a Traveling Superintendent
, you will manage all phases of construction for multiple projects. This includes coordinating activities between subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and architects. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure Site Safety: Maintain a safe and compliant work environment for all job site personnel.
- Construction Scheduling: Track and manage construction schedules, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines.
- Coordination & Inspections: Oversee all construction services, including inspections with local jurisdictions and design teams.
- Monitor Trades & Timelines: Schedule and supervise all trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Material & Equipment Procurement: Plan and acquire necessary materials and equipment for the job site.
- Daily Logs: Maintain accurate daily logs of all job site activities.
- Punch List & Final Touches: Assign and monitor completion of the punch list, ensuring final details are addressed.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts on-site in a professional manner.
- Site Organization: Keep the job site clean, organized, and efficient at all times.

Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals. - Self-Motivated & Detail-Oriented: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Construction Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel to various job sites throughout the Midwest.
- Labor
Activities:
Ability to perform hands-on labor as needed on-site. - Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
