This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional to begin building a career in project management within the construction and engineering industry (civil). Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you will gain hands-on experience in project coordination, documentation, and client support while developing the skills needed to successfully manage projects in the future.

Position Overview

The Project Manager (Entry-Level) supports the planning and coordination of construction and engineering projects under the guidance of senior team members. This role is designed for someone who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and interested in growing within a project management career path. Responsibilities
  • Support the development and tracking of project schedules and assist with basic resource planning.
  • Help coordinate the collection and testing of samples and materials by working with field and laboratory teams.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, including field reports, sample tracking logs, and test summaries.
  • Assist in preparing project updates and communicating progress to clients and internal teams under supervision.
  • Learn and follow company processes to ensure projects meet quality and safety standards.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support safety practices in field and laboratory environments.
  • Help track project milestones and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist the team in maintaining compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Internship, co-op, or part-time experience in construction or engineering

Required Skills
  • 1+ years of experience in construction or related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); exposure to Microsoft Project or similar software is helpful but not required.
