Sky Technologies, Inc is a highly innovative Information Technology and Low Voltage Solutions provider. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill our Low Voltage Project Manager/Estimator.

• Estimating structured wiring such as Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cabling, access control system, wireless system, PA system, and CCTV system.
• Project managing low voltage and structured cabling projects, allocating proper resources to ensure project budgets are maintained.
• Inspecting bid sites and producing bid documents.
• Creating relationships with general contractors, sub-contractors, and project managers.
• Working with material/equipment distributors to obtain material costs.
• Managing in-state and out-of-state projects and staff.
• Analyzing publications and performing Internet research on upcoming projects.
• Attending required bid meetings.
• Assisting with the preparation of subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Ensuring all required material certifications and payrolls are timely submitted.
• Reviewing AIA billing and sub-estimates.
• Monitoring field operations.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all project‑related information.
• Performing other related duties as required.

• Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Prefer five (5) years minimum estimating/project management experience.
• Commercial/electrical/low voltage experience.
• Ability to read and perform takeoffs/counts from construction plans.
• Read and understand specs from construction documents.
• Direct experience with low voltage/structured wiring.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Some experience with Microsoft Project preferred but not required.
