Great Place Construction (GPC) is hiring for all construction skill sets. Paid travel time in company vehicles. Work is generally within 1-2 hours of Sioux Falls. GPC is a private construction firm that specializes in commercial design/build projects. We are looking for responsible individuals to join our team and train in all aspects of construction work! Advancement opportunities – you are coming in on the ground floor, work for us and move up as we grow.
QualificationsGPC is looking for:
- Ability to use a variety of tools and machines such as: brooms, hammer, power drill, level, jack hammer, pressure washer, etc.
- Knowledge of general safe work practices
- Ability to measure materials or distances, using square, measuring tape, rule or string line to lay out work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted to help load and unload construction materials
- Willing to assist superintendents, carpenters, concrete and steel workers with work
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable with a good attitude
- Good math skills
