Role Description The Civil Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sioux Falls, SD. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing civil construction and pipeline-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Day-to-day tasks include managing project schedules, supervising site activities, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, and monitoring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

The Civil Project Manager will collaborate with engineering, field, and logistics teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate documentation, and support inspections and audits. The role also involves communicating project status to stakeholders, forecasting resource needs, and continuously improving processes to support MOSO Services’ safety and performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in expediting and working as an expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials and services to project sites.
  • Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Candidates should possess inspection-related skills to support quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Candidates should possess logistics management skills to coordinate procurement, transportation, and on-site material handling.
  • Relevant experience in civil construction, pipeline projects, or industrial infrastructure is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with project management software and basic office applications (e.g., MS Project, Excel, and document management tools) is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to safety and quality in field operations.
