Job Description Great Place Construction is a private construction firm that specializes in commercial construction. We are seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to join our team to facilitate, coordinate and manage project operations as the leader of the on-site management team. ** DUTIES:
*** Evaluate construction plans for completeness and constructability.
* Review and understand contract documents.
* Coordinate with design consultants to resolve discrepancies in plans and specifications.
* Develop and maintain interval schedules.
* Maintain site logistics.
* Collaborate/coordinate with field personnel to complete self-performed work.
* Collaborate/coordinate with subcontractor lead personnel.
* Implement project/company requirements for safety, quality control, risk, compliance, etc.
* Administer daily project tracking and reporting.
* Coach and mentor balance of on-site team.
* Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you.
* Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome.
** REQUIREMENTS:
*** Ability to travel as needed to project locations for duration of project.
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Advanced understanding of construction means, methods and practices.
* Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or 10 years trade experience.
* Minimum 5 years of related experience with 3 of those years having been in supervisory position.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
