Electrical Estimator

The company handles a wide range of commercial, industrial, and specialty electrical projects, including new construction, remodels, tenant improvements, maintenance, underground electrical work, and larger infrastructure projects.

• Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids for commercial and industrial electrical projects
• Review project plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents
• Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Develop complete project estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs
• Work with project managers, field personnel, vendors, and customers throughout the estimating process
• Identify scope gaps, potential risks, and cost-saving opportunities
• Assist with bid preparation, proposal development, and final pricing
• Participate in project turnover from estimating to operations
• Maintain organized estimating records and pricing information

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical construction
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Experience performing electrical takeoffs and developing labor and material estimates
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and construction costs
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Electrical field experience is a strong plus
