Creative Web Specialist

Job Overview

We’re looking for an energetic Creative Web Specialist for our Creative Web Team who is excited to produce dynamic graphic and web designs, create brand and logo designs, and develop layouts to support over 20,000+ websites! You will have the opportunity to put your skills to use to help determine the style and arrangement of illustrative material and copy while applying your knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.

• Manage dealer website process and resources
• Responsible for designing and maintaining dealer websites and related requests tasked to department via the Lead Manager tasking system
• Responsible for completing tasks to the best of their abilities as requested by the customer. Tasks range in difficulty from creating a fully-custom website within the Site Builder tool to simply correcting a phone number
• Assist with maintaining and designing new website templates, mockup websites, and demo websites, as well as, special projects as needed
• Contributing to and maintaining the company’s extensive Image Collection
• Communicating with other business units regarding tasks as needed
• Completing demos, phone support, and priority tasks by rotation as assigned
• Other related responsibilities and/or duties as assigned to meet the needs and/or goals of the department and the business

• Requires an Associate’s Degree or its equivalent and/or at least 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
• Works under direct supervision
• Working knowledge of Adobe CS6/CC Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Responsive Web Design techniques
• Knowledge of jQuery, Java script, Brackets, Acrobat Pro, and Bootstrap are a plus
• Design portfolio exhibiting attention-to-detail and a solid grasp of current graphic and web design trends, principles, and techniques
• Must have basic computer skills in both MAC and PC environments
• Effective listening and strong written communication skills are needed
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Must be self-motivated, persistent, and have the ability to prioritize workloads
