Key Responsibilities- Lead site assessments, landscape design, and construction documentation for regenerative projects.

- High proficiency in AutoCAD (Land-FX preferred); advanced Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, California native plants, regional conditions, planting design, and irrigation.
- Excellent communication, self-motivation, and ability to work independently or remotely/onsite.
- Holistic, nature-based, regenerative design experience.
- Sketch Up, Rhino, or 3D modeling.
- Project management, mentoring, or public/community-based projects.
- Live and work in one of California's most serene, nature-rich valleys—perfect for those passionate about local environmental stewardship.
- Competitive salary + benefits:
Health care stipend, annual training/wellness funds, 401k match, PTO/vacation/sick time, paid holidays. - Meaningful impact:
Help build resilient, beautiful landscapes that model best practices for water conservation and watershed health in Ventura County and beyond.
Portfolio / Work Examples (Highly Recommended):
Please include links to (or attach) 2–4 relevant project examples or a portfolio if available. We're especially interested in work demonstrating:
Stormwater management integrated with landscape design (e.g., bioswales, rain gardens, LID features, flood prevention). Regenerative or nature-based solutions (e.g., native/California-appropriate planting, water reuse systems like greywater or rainwater harvesting). Construction documentation, site planning, or construction administration in ecological contexts. Examples can be anonymized or high-level if under NDA—focus on your role, challenges solved, tools used (e.g., AutoCAD, Land-FX, Adobe Suite), and outcomes (e.g., water conserved, habitat enhanced).
If you don't have shareable examples yet, describe 1–2 key projects in your cover letter.
