REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree and endorsement in the areas of teaching assignment, certification, alternative certification or licensure; current, valid South Dakota teaching certificate.

Special Education Teachers will provide specialized instruction for students with special needs in order for students to achieve their goals established for Extended School Year (ESY) services. ESY services may look different for every child. ESY services are designed to maintain skills already acquired, not to learn new skills, and all specialized instruction and related services provided will reflect the unique instructional needs of each child.
Special Education Teachers will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting progress toward identified IEP goals and objectives during the ESY session.
Pay Day:
Last working day of each month.
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
- June 9th-11th
- June 16th-18th
- June 23rd-25th
- Off the week of July 4th
- July 7th-9th
- July 14th-16th
