Policy and Resource Development
Support the drafting and organizing of business policies, procedures, and resource guides that help new ventures launch successfully and sustainably.
Program and Curriculum DevelopmentAid in developing program materials, workshops, and curriculum for the Wichóthi Kága Business Start-up and Development Center, ensuring these resources reflect decolonized, community-based approaches such as resource sharing, bartering, and communal ownership.
Technical AssistanceCoordinate and track technical assistance provided to Thunder Valley’s start-ups, including business modeling, planning, and marketing support.
Knowledge ManagementOrganize and maintain records of training, resources, and best practices to build community skills in healing, emotional intelligence, and Lakol wicho’an values.
By providing these essential indirect services, we help create the conditions for economic inclusion and broad-based business ownership within our community. Our work behind the scenes empowers community members to increase their skills, experience, and knowledge grounded in indigenous values and collective prosperity.
Member DutiesThe Research and Marketing VISTA will be responsible for the development of data collection systems and materials for initiative events. Research and Marketing VISTA will also be conducting research that will develop into marketing strategies to better impact poverty. Participate in weekly conference calls/meetings and various community outings. Participate in weekly and monthly conference calls hosted by the VISTA Coordinator for all the VISTA Member's serving the Pine Ridge Promise Zone.
