We want YOU here! This position offers a $1,000 sign‑on bonus and supports every student’s access to a rigorous education and activities. The role is part of a collaborative team of students, staff, parents/guardians, and community members.

• Escorts students to transportation and other areas of the building.
• Provides personal care to students with special daily living needs (e.g., toileting, feeding, physical management).
• Reviews and practices skills taught by teachers with students 1:1 and in small groups in special education or regular classrooms.
• Works with students in schools and on community outings.
• Prepares instructional materials as directed by teachers.
• Reinforces instructional and behavioral objectives.
• Performs clerical assistance to maintain student records (charting, assignments, attendance, progress notes).
• Assists supervising students during recess, lunch, and playground.
• Maintains confidentiality of student and family information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Two years of post‑high school education or higher, or ability to pass a state‑approved standardized test for Educational Assistant positions.
• At least one year of work experience involving interpersonal interaction skills and strategies to support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Experience with behavior management.
• Physical requirements:
  
  Hand‑eye coordination, frequent bending, crouching, reaching, removing, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, threading, turning, walking, carrying, grasping, holding, lifting, opening, pulling, unfolding, unlocking, and ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Starting at $18.42 per hour + $1,000 sign‑on bonus.

Pay day:
Last working day of each month based on the payroll cutoff schedule.

Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 3:15 pm with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch. 0.875 FTE (35 hours per week, 9 months).

Benefits available for positions 20 hours per week or more.
