Responsibilites:

• Tutor/support students in all academic areas
• Administer make-up tests
• Monitor student progress and keep records
• Complete various clerical work as assigned
• Confer with supervising teachers
• Be responsible for some supervisory duties (lunch, recess)(varies at each site)
• Various duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent
• Some post high training in education preferred
• Works well with children
• Comfort level with lower and upper elementary verbal & math skills
• Basic competency in computer skills
• Resourceful & creative to proved adaptations for students
• Self-starter
• High energy
• Ability to adjust to daily changes in task schedule
• Adapts well to a variety of tasks
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Problem-solving and decision making ability
• Team player
