• Carry out lesson plans, assigned duties, and extra duties to the best of your abilities
• Communicate clear objectives for all learning activities and assist students with questions
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment, utilizing relevant technology
• Assign, grade, and enter class work, homework, tests, and assignments as instructed by the teacher
• Encourage, monitor, and promote the progress of individual students, providing supervision at all times
• Manage student behavior by enforcing rules and procedures, maintaining discipline according to school systems
• Promote the mission of the Sioux Falls Catholic School system and model the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Maintain established routines and procedures of the school and classroom, leaving the classroom orderly at the end of the day
• Interact professional with students, staff, and parents, respecting confidentiality of student and school personnel information
• Provide a brief written report on the day’s activities for the teacher at the conclusion of the day.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited Institution
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Self-motivated with high energy
• High work standards
• Good problem solving and decision making skills
