Mercy Church is seeking a deeply Bible-rooted teacher and shepherd to lead in the growth of God’s Kingdom in Sioux Falls, SD. We seek a humble and kind soul with the well-rounded skills of an administrator with broad leadership expertise and depth of organizational talents to balance the intricacies of pastoring a small church. The pastor will be responsible for faithfully preaching and teaching God’s word, while developing and mobilizing the God-given gifts of a small, committed group of disciples eager to be used by the Lord to draw in those who will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Congregants have expressed their emphasis on our new pastor leading the fostering and implementation of regular community outreach opportunities, along with an enthusiasm for developing a youth ministry. Necessary as well, are the people skills useful in shepherding a devoted group of believers who have a genuine desire to serve God and share the healing power and grace of Jesus to all whom seek Him, with energy and enthusiasm.

We anticipate that these attributes will be bathed by a strong prayer life in our new lead pastor.
