Mechanical Superintendent

Focus: Piping, Mechanical Process/Packaging, and HVAC (Food & Beverage experience preferred).

The Mechanical Superintendent directs all field operations to ensure safe, timely, and profitable project completion. You will oversee subcontractors and craft labor, managing everything from high-spec piping and equipment setting to structural steel and hydrostatic testing.

• Field Supervision: Direct daily construction activities, including piping (SS/Carbon/Alloy), rigging, welding, insulation, and coatings.
• Safety & Quality: Lead site safety (PTAs/TSOs) and coordinate with QA/QC to verify weld qualifications and code compliance.
• Project Controls: Manage 3-week look-aheads, track installed quantities/hours, and maintain daily progress reports/photos.
• Technical Oversight: Read/interpret P&IDs and isometrics; witness equipment alignment and sign off on system testing.
• Contract Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance, manage RFI responses, and oversee field change orders.
• Material Logistics: Verify material deliveries meet specs and ensure proper storage and preventative maintenance.

• Experience: Bachelor’s Degree + 7 years of mechanical construction/craft supervision.
• Associate’s Degree + 9 years of experience.
• HS Diploma + 11 years of experience.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to read complex structural/mechanical drawings.
