Wastewater Project Engineer

Position Overview

As a Project Engineer in the Wastewater Department, you will work with project teams to support wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction.

This role works closely with project managers, engineers, technical staff, and clients to help deliver quality projects that serve the communities we work in.

• Develop project plans, specifications, and technical reports
• Perform engineering calculations, design work, and software modeling
• Coordinate work with surveying and civil engineering technician staff
• Support construction administration, observation, and startup related responsibilities
• Assist with project coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Work with project managers and clients to support successful project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff engineers and engineering technicians

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited four‑year program
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
• 4 to 8 years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience with wastewater infrastructure projects preferred
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license

Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States.
