Field Service Engineer - Sioux Falls, SD

Job Overview

The Field Service Engineer will support the needs of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics by troubleshooting, installing, validating, and maintaining Automation and Chemistry equipment across the Midwest region.

• Perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, modification, and service repair of Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times.
• Utilize business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and provide technical training to newer Field Service Engineers.

• Associate’s degree in a technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent military experience, or high school diploma with three years of relevant experience.
• Minimum one year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment or instrumentation.
• Preferred: 3+ years of advanced troubleshooting experience and proven ability to develop client relationships.

• Ability to travel up to 20% overnight within the specified territory.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.

Hourly range: $34.00 to $38.00. Eligible for bonus and incentive pay.
