Job Overview
The Field Service Engineer will support the needs of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics by troubleshooting, installing, validating, and maintaining Automation and Chemistry equipment across the Midwest region.
Key Responsibilities- Perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, modification, and service repair of Beckman Coulter equipment.
- Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times.
- Utilize business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning.
- Communicate with internal and external customers and provide technical training to newer Field Service Engineers.
- Associate’s degree in a technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent military experience, or high school diploma with three years of relevant experience.
- Minimum one year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment or instrumentation.
- Preferred: 3+ years of advanced troubleshooting experience and proven ability to develop client relationships.
- Ability to travel up to 20% overnight within the specified territory.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
Hourly range: $34.00 to $38.00. Eligible for bonus and incentive pay.
