We are seeking a Project Manager focused on Water and Wastewater System Planning to join our team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Develop conceptual site plans and cost estimates. Conduct system modeling for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Assist with permitting and alternatives analysis. Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables. Support and develop client relations. Share knowledge and provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineering staff on master planning and hydraulic modeling projects.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 5+ years of directly relevant experience in water, sewer, and stormwater system modeling, and master planning. Registration as a Professional Engineer is required. Project management skills with demonstrated experience managing staff with scope, budget, and schedule are necessary. Ability to apply engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques is essential.
Familiarity with computer applications including HCSS, Ag Tec, Planswift is needed. Knowledge of hydrology, system hydraulics, hydraulic modeling software for pressurized and/or gravity pipeline networks, knowledge and experience working with GIS is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is necessary. Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and project team is required.

Compensation range is $90,000 to $125,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
