Experienced Transportation Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced civil engineering professional to lead and manage projects from initial concept through completion. This role involves overseeing project teams, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities- Manage civil engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineers, designers, and technical staff.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to define project requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to collect data and inform design decisions.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support business development efforts, including client relationship management, proposal preparation, and participation in industry events.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- 10+ years experience in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Micro Station, and Open Roads
- Strong design skills
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in transportation projects
