Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all phases of specialty tax engagements, including cost segregation and R&D tax credit studies.
Serve as the primary client contact, managing expectations, communications, and deliverables.
Review and approve technical analyses, calculations, and reports for accuracy and quality.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Associates and Senior Associates; provide real‑time coaching and career development.
Develop engagement budgets, manage project profitability, and support business development initiatives.
Collaborate with internal and external CPAs, legal, and engineering professionals to resolve complex issues.
Stay current on evolving tax laws, regulations, and guidance impacting specialty tax areas.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, engineering, or construction management preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or specialty tax services.

CPA, PE, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and supervising project teams.
