Title: Controller / CFO – Executive Finance Leadership

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Job Type: Full-Time | Executive

A well-established holding company with a diversified portfolio across manufacturing, distribution, and service businesses is seeking an experienced Controller / CFO. This high-impact, hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving financial strategy, oversight, and operational excellence across multiple business units.

• Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
• Serve as a strategic partner to business leadership, supporting growth initiatives, operational improvements, and potential acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Manage banking relationships, capital planning, and investment strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in multi-entity or diversified organizations.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and operational expertise.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives.
