Position Summary

The Chief Wealth Management Officer provides strategic and operational leadership for the Wealth Management division, with accountability for client experience, growth, fiduciary excellence, talent development, and financial performance. This role partners with bank leadership to align strategy, deepen relationships, and deliver integrated solutions. This role leads the delivery of trust, fiduciary, investment, advisory, and family office services while maintaining strong compliance, risk discipline, and operational effectiveness.

It is expected to drive growth, foster collaboration, and set clear accountability for results.

Accountabilities

What will you do:

Leadership Management Accountability
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team by setting expectations, coaching others, and driving accountability for results.
  • Partner with senior leaders to align Wealth Management priorities with Bank strategy.
  • Communicate clearly, delegate effectively, and empower teammates to execute.
  • Build bench strength through coaching, succession planning, and development.
  • Promote FNB values and ensure adherence to regulatory and policy expectations.
Growth Mindset / CWMO
  • Promote continuous learning and development for the team and self.
  • Build strong client and referral relationships to support retention, growth, and expanded services.
  • Drive business plan goals through a proactive, client‑centered approach.
  • Partner across business lines to deepen relationships and improve the client experience.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, resolve escalated concerns, and identify opportunities to strengthen engagement.
Operational Leadership & Governance
  • Develop scalable processes and operating models that support efficiency, consistency, and growth.
  • Oversee workflows and service delivery, and improve models to enhance client and team outcomes.
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Internal Audit to maintain strong governance and readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to fiduciary responsibilities, regulations, policies, and timely issue resolution.
Strategic Vision
  • Define and execute the strategic vision for Wealth Management in alignment with Bank priorities.
  • Lead growth initiatives that deepen relationships, improve profitability, and support sustainable performance.
  • Manage the annual budget, business plan, and key performance indicators.
  • Drive innovation by aligning services with client needs, market trends, and business opportunities.
Qualifications

Ten or more years of progressively responsible experience in wealth management, trust, fiduciary, investment, private banking, or related financial services leadership roles required, including meaningful leadership and supervision experience.
