Position

Purpose:

To manage the calendar, lead tracker, and keep the Mortgage Banker organized. Qualities of the successful candidate include:

• Must have knowledge of credit analysis, credit policy/procedures, real estate lending, problem loan administration, financial budgeting and planning, banking rules and regulations and bank products offered
• Computer knowledge and the ability to learn various software programs is a must
• Attention to detail while preparing and proofing loan documents, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines is required
• Must be able to multi-task, be organized and work under stress and pressure

Responsibilities of this position include (but not limited to):

• Schedule and plan monthly lunch and learn for Banker and real estate agents
• Answer all incoming phone calls
• Weekly contact with leads/applications in database
• Give borrower a verbal list of what to bring and directions
• Update database with closed loans

Compensation for positions is based on the specific position and may be paid in the form of an hourly wage, overtime, a semi-monthly salary, commissions, or a combination of them. Depending on the specific position, some may be paid solely on commissions or others may include a bonus structure.
