Client Relationship Consultant ; Banker - Sioux Falls NE, SD

At U.S. Bank, you will build relationships with customers across multiple channels, providing counsel and recommending solutions that meet their financial goals. You will manage client needs, process transactions, and promote digital products while maintaining compliance with NMLS, Regulation Z, and other regulatory requirements.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
• Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing account information.
• Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services.
• Recommend solutions based on individual customer goals and needs.
• Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
• Proactively educate clients on emerging digital and self‑service products.
• Collaborate with branch team members and partners to deliver an optimal client experience.
• Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and achieve operational excellence.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three to four years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.

• Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through outreach and follow‑up.
• Effective engagement and communication with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies.
• Ability to identify and explore customer needs with a digital‑first mindset.
• Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Candidates will undergo a criminal background and credit check. Failure to maintain NMLS registration may result in rescission of the offer or termination.

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
