Mortgage Operations Assistant

Position

Purpose:

To assist and support the COO of Mortgage with daily activities and project management.

• High school or GED is required
• Mortgage knowledge highly encouraged
• Work independently with sound decision making skills
• Must be detail orientated and recognized accuracy when assisting others
• Good communication skills with people of different backgrounds, professional industries, and work environments
• Uses sound judgment in executing core job responsibilities
• Demonstrate the ability to think critically and logically
• Must be a strong multi-tasker and can prioritize tasks
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and be adaptable to change
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a role model for staff
• Meet deadlines and be able to work under pressure

• Research and development in mortgage compliance, products, software, and regulations
• Project management
• Read, comprehend, and interpret processes, procedures, and policies
• Assist in creating and writing policies
• Schedule meetings as necessary
• Calling, establishing, and maintaining relationships with multiple departments within the bank, along with consultants, vendors, third parties, etc.
• Create and maintain reports assigned by COO Mortgage
• Must be able to communicate effectively, get along with co-workers and deal with colleagues effectively and professionally
• Practice branch security procedures and protect customer confidentiality and privacy
• May perform additional duties as necessary to keep the Bank operating efficiently and effectively

Compensation for positions is based on the specific position and may be paid in the form of an hourly wage, a semi-monthly salary, commissions, or a combination of them. Depending on the specific position, some may be paid solely on commissions or others may include a bonus structure.
