Tax Manager - Public

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Tax Manager to join an organizations team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of multiple tax engagements, managing them from the initial planning stages through to completion.
• Review and prepare complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and fiduciaries.
• Act as a technical expert, staying updated on tax regulations and providing guidance to the team.
• Oversee workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure smooth project execution.
• Mentor and train staff at the beginning of their careers, encouraging skill development and building a strong team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to offer advisory services.
• Collaborate directly with the Tax Partner to align on strategic goals and enhance client service delivery.
• Monitor industry updates and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and proactive adjustments.
• Utilize tax software, such as CCH Pro System Fx, to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
