as an AML/Fraud Analyst I, where you'll play a key role in detecting suspicious activity, preventing fraud, and supporting a strong culture of compliance within a growing fintech organization.
- Investigate alerts generated by AML monitoring systems and analyze transaction activity to determine appropriate actions and escalations u003
- Review OFAC alerts and escalation findings in accordance with established procedures u003
- Process compromised card notifications received from applicable payment networks u003
- Conduct detailed account and transaction reviews to identify potential fraud and money laundering risks u003
- Document investigations, findings, and actions thoroughly to support audit and regulatory requirements u003
- Collaborate with AML and Fraud team members to strengthen fraud prevention and detection efforts u003
- Analyze trends and utilize reports to identify emerging risks and recommend process improvements u003
- Conduct cardholder interview calls as needed to support investigations and resolve potential fraud concerns u003
- Assist with additional compliance and fraud prevention initiatives as assigned

- Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to identify patterns and assess risk u003

- Effective written and verbal communication skills u003
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point u003

- Interest in financial crime prevention, regulatory compliance, and fraud investigations

- Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field preferred u003
- Previous experience in fraud prevention, banking, financial services, compliance, investigations, or customer service is helpful but not required u003
- Familiarity with AML regulations, fraud detection tools, or financial transaction monitoring is a plus u003
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize AML monitoring systems and investigative tools
