Position:
Physical Therapist (PT).

Location:

Sioux Falls, SD.

Employer:

Select Specialty Hospital, a chronic illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services.

Schedule:

Per Diem/PRN; flexible schedule Monday to Friday. No nights, weekends, or holiday requirements.

Compensation: $45 per hour

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.

• Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervise PT and PTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and modify treatment during sessions as needed.
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment required.
