A Brief Overview

Responsible for developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies with hiring managers including sourcing candidates from a variety of resources, abiding by labor law regulations and hiring the best possible talent. Provides training and assistance of the hiring process and assist with any employee relation issues as needed.

What you will do
  • Develops and implements recruitment plans and strategies with hiring managers which can include screening of applicants, sending any additional information to candidate, participating in interviews, verifying references, extending offers including wage negotiations, communicating with hiring manager regarding new hire and assisting in on-boarding the new hire.
  • Understands competitive workforce trends and recommends innovative recruitment strategies including use of social media and other forms of advertisement.
  • Conducts intake sessions with hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of the job opening and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Maintains records in accordance with labor laws concerning interviews, applicant sources, hires, vacant positions and other required data.
  • Participates in career and job fairs to strengthen recruitment efforts in the community while maintaining appropriate documentation to comply with government laws and regulations.
  • Researches, organizes and conducts training programs, seminars, and special programs as directed.
  • Reviews, updates and creates position descriptions as needed.
  • Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business or related field or two to three years of Human Resources experience.
