Students in the Game Development Student Organization study game design patterns,engines and work as a team to accomplish large-scale projects. The Game Development Student Organization looks at developing for cross compatibility across devices, including
PC, console, mobile and VR and uses Meta Quest systems for testing and development.

A Computer Technician has strong troubleshooting skills and technical proficiency related to a variety of computer hardware and software systems and attached peripherals,such as monitors, keyboards, printers and drives. Your one year of coursework at Southeast Tech will explore installation and minor repairs to hardware and software systems,aswell as how to provide technical assistance and training to users.
As a Computer Repair Technician from STC, you will:
- Determine compatibility for computer operating systems
- Know computer construction, troubleshooting and wiring
- Understand network operating systems and desktop operating systems
- Find work-around solutions in time-sensitive situations
- Demonstrate customer service skills as it relates to user training and assistance
Computers are ubiquitous in today’s world. As an I.T. technician, your role is to overseer computer systems and install or make minor repairs to software, hardware orother equipment to ensure the system operates correctly. You also will answer user inquiries, diagnose problems and correct issues.
