Member of the Global Information & Security Team. You will help build and scale a forward-looking security program that protects our data and client digital assets, adheres to industry standards, and meets regulatory requirements including GLBA Safeguards Rule, FFIEC, NYSDFS, and MAS.
Responsibilities- Lead information security initiatives such as cybersecurity risk assessments, internal controls design and implementation, and reporting/metrics development.
- Identify and evaluate risk to the Information Security Program; create and improve controls to manage operational risk in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure controls perform as expected and remain compliant, with cross-functional collaboration to prioritize work and drive strategic goals.
- Contribute to development of company goals and long-term strategy for the Information Security Team; influence priorities and participate in cross-team initiatives.
- Expert knowledge of regulatory and industry frameworks: NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 1/2; cloud environments; change management; and computer operations.
- Ability to grasp new technologies quickly, articulate risks, and implement risk-mitigating measures; connect service offerings to IT/Info Sec environment.
- Experience resolving issues to ensure regulatory requirements are met; track findings from identification to remediation.
- Strong understanding of IT risk management and information security principles; ability to lead projects autonomously.
- Ability to translate IT compliance and risk strategy into actionable plans; develop meaningful metrics and reports; drive maturity of the security program to align with standards (NIST, FFIEC, ISO, SOC
2).
- Experience in startups/fintech; information systems auditor or consultant background.
- Strong cloud architecture, cryptography, APIs, and enterprise security practices.
- Knowledge of Information Security Risk and Security Governance.
