Associate Network Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an Associate Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT environment. This role focuses on network inventory management, equipment lifecycle support, and accurate data entry within Service Now. The ideal candidate is organized, self‑motivated, and eager to gain hands‑on experience within network operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high‑performing team supporting a major healthcare system undergoing significant technology expansion and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Manage network equipment inventory, including physical shipping and receiving
• Input and maintain accurate asset data within Service Now
• Support cleanup and organization of network closets following equipment refreshes or installations
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and support of local and wide area network infrastructure
• Ensure reliable, secure, high‑performance data, video, and voice communications
• Work independently in a fast‑paced, close‑knit team environment
• Perform lifting and movement of network equipment as needed
• Must hold a valid driver’s license

Required

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with basic switching, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, and physical cabling standards/practices
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware/software configuration
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies (preferred)
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks, inventories, and data systems
• Comfortable working on‑site and independently

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $44.00/hr.
