Location:

On‑Site. We are hiring a Junior level Software Engineer with experience applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to support an AWS enterprise cloud environment. Qualified candidates will have experience with software and/or systems development lifecycle, experience designing and implementing applications and solutions in an AWS cloud infrastructure, and an interest in learning and growing as part of a collaborative team.

• Work as part of a dynamic Dev Sec Ops  team developing applications and supporting migration of physical and on‑prem infrastructure to AWS cloud.
• Interact with teammates to support development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with CI/CD tools such as Git Lab Runners.
• Support Dev Ops infrastructure following IaC principles and best practices.
• Support team in developing and maintaining provisioning/deprovisioning, monitoring and auditing AWS cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
• Apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, as required.
• Use Ansible and similar configuration and automation tools to support automation.
• Demonstrate consistent interest in learning and applying new tools and technologies to leverage industry best practices and enhance productivity.
• Support Agile team and participate across iterative development lifecycle.

• U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship).
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government security access (Public Trust level).
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related discipline (equivalent years of related experience or training may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• 2+ years of related experience supporting cloud engineering or Dev Ops in AWS enterprise technology environment.
• AWS Certification at Associate Level.
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing concepts, services, and operating models.
• Demonstrated experience working hands‑on with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization supporting a Dev Ops environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and technologies such as AWS or Terraform.
• Configuration Management experience using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated proficiency with scripting in one or more languages such as Python, Power Shell or Bash to support automation tasks.
• Ability to estimate timelines and workloads and estimate cost strategies to optimize implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present technical information to technical and non‑technical team members.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.

• Professional or Specialty AWS Certification.
• Terraform Associate Certification.
• Experience or strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Fin Ops in an AWS cloud solution.
• Development experience using modern software engineering practices.
