With the evolving landscape of digital threats and increasing volume of sophisticated attacks by malicious actors, we have a security policy mandating all new hires complete an in‑person onboarding process – no exceptions. Security is our foundation and we prioritise physical identity verification and secure IT setup, reinforcing our culture that values in‑person collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end testing activities to assess the design and effectiveness of compliance and controls, identifying gaps for remediation.
  • Partner with Operations, Compliance, Information Security, Engineering, Product, and Legal teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable technical processes.
  • Collaborate with risk owners to provide credible challenge to remediation plans and track findings from identification through to validation using GRC tools (Audit Board).
  • Support information security risk assessments as needed.
  • Manage the testing life cycles using multiple methodologies, delivering detailed fieldwork, data analytics, and clear issue tracking.
  • Assist with issue‑management framework implementation, metrics, and validation of remediation.
Technical Skills
  • Manage and execute testing life cycles using multiple methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of core banking regulations (e.g., complaints management, disclosures, financial crimes compliance, privacy, and security).
  • Full understanding of audit/testing methodologies, information security risk and controls, SOC, policy governance and management.
  • Evaluate and interpret information/data to produce meaningful results.
  • Apply experience to connect business objectives with control environments and assess compliance obligations.
  • Resolve issues creatively, working directly with control owners from risk assessment through remediation.
  • Experienced with GRC management tools such as Audit Board.
Complexity and Impact of Work
  • Execute and manage all phases of compliance and Info Sec cyclical test reviews.
  • Prepare fieldwork material and data analytics, delivering well‑documented fieldwork and clear issue descriptions.
  • Collaborate with risk/control owners to challenge and refine remediation plans.
  • Assist with issue‑management framework implementation through metrics and validation.
  • Identify and quantify relevant information‑security threat scenarios and assess control effectiveness.

  • Analyze complex issues requiring deep knowledge of the company and industry.
  • Understand Anchorage Digital’s strategy and collaborate to align initiatives with broader priorities.
  • Engage peers to develop methods and evaluation criteria with enterprise‑wide impact.

You May Be a Fit for This Role If You Have
  • Knowledge of testing life cycles and methodologies.
  • Experience in IT risk and information security audits.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and auditing practices within the financial services industry.
  • Ability to write clear, accurate reports summarizing identified issues.
  • A proven track record of delivering high‑quality work products and managing projects with tight timelines and multiple complex priorities.
  • Flexibility to pivot quickly in a changing environment.
Bonus Points (Optional)
  • Experience auditing/testing Anti‑Money Laundering programs and trading activities.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP.
  • Understanding of crypto staking and/or governance.
  • Technical/engineering background or mindset.
  • Strong SQL or data analytical skills to support pulling data from Big Query.
