Pay Range: $63,960.00 - $96,200.00

Position Highlights

Provide basic support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, training and support. Support applications by applying knowledge to ensure effective and optimal use, incorporating enhancements and process improvements. Translate end-user needs into optimal configuration and build of applications.

What you will do
  • Develop understanding and working knowledge of current information systems, associated workflows, and integration with other systems within the organization. Work collaboratively with system users, technical staff, other IT groups, and vendor support resources to solve information system issues.
  • Participate in planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance, and evaluation of existing or new functionality related to information systems. Conduct testing before system changes, updates, or new functionality is moved to production.
  • Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade operating systems, application software, and hardware. Drive the planning of new systems or re-engineering projects across the organization to support practices and maintain the EHR.
  • Maintain membership and consultation to appropriate committees, work groups, or task forces to facilitate design, implementation, and revision of automated and manual components of information systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams during implementations of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements. Engage in all phases of large or small projects, ensuring feasibility, quality, and appropriateness of system changes.
  • Maintain support materials related to system implementations and maintenance, including routine updates, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and product enhancements.
  • Facilitate reporting of information from source systems using appropriate tools.
  • Update training materials for the systems as needed, or work with the system educator to do so, and participate in training classes when appropriate.
  • Contribute to quality improvement programs for information systems to support safe patient care and services, identify cost-effective practices, and manage budget activities.
  • Provide on‑call support to end users and IT departments, serving as a resource to other team members in areas of expertise.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least two years of related experience and/or training
  • Software‑specific certification, accreditation, or proficiency related to the software support may be required
