Description
The D365 System Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and related business applications. This role serves as the operational owner of the D365 platform, ensuring system stability, security, performance, and user adoption while supporting business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, Asset Management, Procurement, and Corporate functions.
The D365 System Administrator partners closely with business stakeholders, Business Systems Analysts, developers, implementation partners, and vendors to maintain a secure, scalable, and well-governed ERP environment. This role is responsible for system administration, security management, workflow administration, release management, environment management, issue resolution, and user support.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions(% of time may vary depending on assignments/projects)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Microsoft Certified:
Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) preferred. - Microsoft Certified:
Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330) strongly preferred. - Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) preferred. - Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) is a plus.
- 3+ years administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience managing ERP security roles and permissions.
- Experience supporting enterprise business applications.
- Experience with application troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Experience supporting software releases and deployments.
- Experience working with business users and cross-functional teams.
- Experience documenting system configurations and procedures.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Azure Active Directory / Entra .
- Power Platform.
- Power Automate.
- OData and Data Management Framework.
- ERP integrations and middleware solutions.
- Manufacturing, Construction Services, Distribution, or Asset Management industries
The physical demands of are generally light and primarily aligned with office-based work unless visiting operational facilities/sites.
Specific requirements include:
