Network Engineer
NETWORK MANAGER

Sioux Falls, SD | Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Company: PREMIER Bankcard
Oversee the design, configuration, and deployment of company data networks, ensuring efficient operation, maximizing performance, and minimizing downtime. Diagnose and resolve network issues, coordinate network access, and research new technologies to improve infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Architect, implement, and maintain network solutions that provide core infrastructure, integrating with services and systems running in virtual, private, and public cloud environments.
- Ensure network infrastructure is robust, secure, and capable of supporting organizational needs.
- Communicate with the team to identify needs, monitor performance, diagnose and resolve network and system issues.
- Provide project management for network activities, including upgrades, implementations, and migrations.
- Create, update, and maintain documentation of the environment and operational procedures.
- Create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions.
- Partner with teams to resolve issues and work on future enhancements.
- Interview, hire, and train new staff; provide performance reviews; handle discipline and termination per company policy.
- Proficiency in designing, configuring, and deploying network systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve network issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership experience managing and supervising a network professional team.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, Cloud, and monitoring tools.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
- Experience in project management of complex implementations preferred.
- Extensive experience in LAN/WAN/Cloud installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and design.
- Current valid industry certifications or additional recognized certifications preferred.
