IT Intern

HVAC Elements provides HVAC equipment, controls installation and service, and balancing solutions for commercial and institutional facilities. We have been in business since 1971 and have offices in Sioux Falls and Rapid City South Dakota, and Fargo and Bismarck North Dakota. We are looking for team member to assist with special projects and learn how IT infrastructure supports a mid-sized business that provides critical services. This is an in-person internship, reporting to our Sioux Falls office.

Employment Type:Part Time

Work Hours:Hours will generally be 20-40 per week in the summer. Occasional assignments could be available during the school year.

• Pursuing a degree in an IT related field.

• Coding for various infrastructure and automation projects.
• Assist with research and documentation for projects.
• Generate and maintain documentation for IT processes and projects.
• May help with monitoring system performance.

• Comfortable learning common programming and Windows scripting languages.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess good time management skills.
• Should be comfortable communicating and collaborating with others.
