Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides overall strategic planning, serves as the chief operating and performance leader. The CEO is responsible for defining the firm’s vision, the execution of the company’s strategic plan, ensuring fiduciary and regulatory compliance. The CEO serves as the organization’s chief cultural leader. This role guides long‑term strategic direction, oversees financial and operational performance. The CEO fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability.

The CEO partners closely with the President, Board, Parent Company, and executive team to ensure that the company operates efficiently, meets compliance standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the Retirement, Trust, Operations, HR, Finance Departments.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Strategic Leadership
  • Implement the company’s strategic goals and translate them into actionable operational plans.
  • Direct operational areas including trust administration, client service, Insurance, Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics that ensure operational efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, technology use, and process excellence.
  • Develop and execute the organization’s strategic plan in alignment with its mission, vision, and values.
  • Directs operational areas including HR, Finance, Operations, Trust and Retirement.
  • Evaluate emerging industry trends, competitive positioning, and market opportunities to ensure continued growth and differentiation.
  • Provide strategic oversight for business development, client acquisition, and partnership initiatives.
  • Lead long‑term organizational planning.
Governance & Fiduciary Oversight
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, Parent Company and senior management.
  • Ensure the company’s policies and practices comply with applicable fiduciary, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with the Board, providing timely updates on performance, risk, and strategic issues.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all business practices align with fiduciary regulations, internal controls, and audit standards.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to proactively identify and mitigate risk.
Operational & Financial Stewardship
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and long‑term capital planning.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant business operations across all departments, including trust administration, compliance, client service, and finance.
  • Direct the allocation of resources to support strategic priorities and maintain financial stability.
  • Champion process improvements, technology adoption, and scalable infrastructure.
