Project Manager – Agriculture/Grain Elevator Projects
Tessiers Mechanical Contractors, the Midwest’s Premier Mechanical Contractor, has an immediate opening for a full‑time Project Manager on our Agriculture/Specialty Service team. The project manager will manage new equipment installation and repair and maintenance projects for our agriculture clients, as well as identifying new clients and business opportunities through networking and rapport building. This position will report directly to the Specialty Service Leader.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule meetings with clients to assess required equipment installation and repairs that are needed.
- Work with internal teams to create an estimate of the project costs and timelines.
- Present estimate/proposal to client for review and agreement on Terms and project scope.
- Assemble and schedule the appropriate team members and resources needed to complete the project.
- Research and order all equipment needed for projects.
- Manage the project crew and proactively communicate project status updates to clients.
- Ensure project is completed to the 100% satisfaction of the client.
- Identify new client opportunities through networking and calling on potential and targeted clients.
- Regional travel to client sites within a 2-3 hour radius of Sioux Falls.
- Prior experience and knowledge in the Agricultural industry and with grain elevators/equipment is highly preferred.
- Prior project management experience is preferred.
- Proficient working with MS Office Suite and MS Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Prompt and responsive with a measure of urgency dealing with tasks at hand.
- Must be able to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
