The Operating Partner oversees all operational aspects of the LKN bar and restaurant group, driving excellence in performance, profitability, and guest experience across all locations. This role serves as a strategic leader and key business partner to ownership, responsible for building scalable operational systems, optimizing financial results, and developing high-performing management teams that reflect the company's culture and brand standards. The Operating Partner is a hands-on leader who maintains a visible presence in the business during peak operating periods as required to support teams, ensure operational excellence, and uphold brand standards.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all locations.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company goals and growth plans.
- Standardize best practices across locations to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and brand identity.
- Conduct regular site evaluations, providing actionable feedback and guidance to General Managers.
- Partner with executive leadership on operational planning for new openings, renovations, and market expansions.
- Oversee financial performance of all units, including sales, labor, food, and beverage costs.
- Analyze P&L statements and key performance metrics to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Identify and implement strategies to increase revenue and optimize expenses.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor management and operational staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
- Lead regular meetings and training initiatives.
- Support performance processes, including evaluations, coaching, and succession planning.
- Champion a culture of hospitality and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all locations.
- Maintain brand standards and operational consistency in food, beverage, and service quality.
- Address and resolve guest feedback and high-level service issues when escalated, including on-site support.
- Ensure all venues comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including health, safety, and liquor laws.
- Oversee licensing, inspections, and compliance documentation across all properties.
- Implement and monitor safety and security protocols for staff and guests.
- Proven ability to manage, lead & develop teams.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with deep experience in P&L management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in operational systems including POS, scheduling, inventory, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (Serv Safe certification preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holiday as business needs require.
- Ability to move throughout all areas of bar, restaurant and kitchen environments.
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds at times.
