Heiman Fire is looking to hire an Autobody Technician responsible for helping in the paint process from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble parts to prepare for the refinishing process
- Sand, grind, mud, and prep surfaces for painting
- Read specs and job descriptions for each project
- Complete repairs and touch-ups on various trucks
- Perform buffing techniques to achieve the desired finish
- Assist with priming and painting processes
- Clean and detail equipment prior to customer inspection
- Clean and maintain tools and paint equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience with autobody repair or automotive body shop preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Strong mathematical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 100 lbs
