Press Brake Operator – Start ASAP – Weekly Pay

Hours:

Monday‑Friday, 6 am‑3:30 pm

Join a dynamic sheet metal shop that specializes in creating frames for gas station signs and other custom projects. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for the daily setup and operation of hydraulic CNC‑controlled press brakes, producing parts and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials.

• Operate press brake machine with guidance from a Lead Operator or Supervisor.
• Run bending and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Adjust ram and back gauge locations according to process control instructions and blueprints.
• Check height, depth, and thickness using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and gauges.
• Produce parts for assembly operations and ensure they meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.

• Minimum of 1 year production experience operating a machine such as a brake press, CNC, plasma cutter, or similar equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and process control instructions.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
• Leadership qualities and ability to work independently.

• Experience with hydraulic CNC‑controlled press brakes is preferred.
• Familiarity with fabrication and laser cutting processes is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $20.00–$24.00/hr.
