Quality Sorter

Preform Solutions is a locally owned and operated production company, making preforms for plastic bottles and containers. We are looking for a full-time detailed Sorter to spot product defects in both completed boxes and at times at the production line.

• Sort plastic containers to remove defective product
• Inspect preforms meticulously for known and unknown defects
• Identify and remove defective parts from completed boxes prior to shipping
• Assist with quality testing as needed
• Ability to work autonomously to monitor production lines for quality defects as needed
• Complete quality checks at the production line as needed and notify correct personnel of defects per company process
• Switch between sorting completed boxes and current production as needed to ensure orders are completed timely for customers
• Re-package materials as needed
• Perform general light warehouse duties as required

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the department

• The starting rate for this position is $20.00/hour
  . Overtime available at times, depending on workload.

• Work hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
