Electro-Mechanical Assembly

• Assembler of small electro‑mechanical components of analytical instrumentation
• Connect cables, tubes, and wiring according to specifications
• Solder electrical components
• Use epoxy and potting material
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings
• Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
• Drill, tap, ream, and countersink holes in parts using drill presses and portable power drills
• Manufacture assemblies and analyzers per production procedures and drawings
• Ensure assemblies are built to specifications dictated by assembly drawings
• Perform gas testing on analyzers and record results according to testing procedures
• Test analyzers per testing procedures and sign off on completed tests
• Always keep workstation and production area/inventory clean and organized

• 1 year of assembly experience required
• 1–2 years of wire/PCB soldering preferred
• Ability to use measuring tools, power tools, and hand tools
• Ability to read and follow testing procedures, drawings, and blueprints
• Ability to communicate with Analyzer Manager
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English

• Regular exposure to hazardous situations and equipment, such as high‑speed machines and gas‑analyzing equipment
• Daily wear protective gear, such as safety glasses, face masks, or breathing equipment

$20.00 to $23.00 / hour
