Job Summary
The CNC Machinist/Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, including lathes and both horizontal and vertical machining centers, to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities- Operate assigned machines in accordance with production and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and follow verbal work instructions.
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers as needed.
- Verify and document part dimensions and tolerances to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Inspect finished parts for surface quality and machining accuracy.
- Apply basic shop math in daily tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on assigned equipment.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and workplace procedures.
